0853 - Exploring Electricity

This camp will provide you with a basic introduction to electricity, whether you’re an aspiring young electrical engineer, a do-it-yourselfer, or just someone who wants to better understand one of the most useful topics in science! You’ll learn the basics of electricity by exploring the physical principles involved, and then building a variety of circuits and devices that demonstrate its many uses. You will experiment with voltage, resistance, current, and capacitance by designing and testing your own circuits to meet challenges that get more complex as the week goes on. Each step of the way, you’ll learn how to analyze why the devices work as they do, and get the chance to invent ways to make them better.
