Hike our on-site Jay Wolf Nature Trail at the UGA Aquarium through transitional and mature maritime forests to experience coastal Georgia’s climax plant community. Examine the diverse plants and animals found here through close observation and nature study. 

Session fees are non-refundable once booked, in the event you must cancel or fail to show, and session dates cannot be changed.

Special notes: 

  • Participation does not include entry into the UGA Aquarium. Aquarium visits can be made by appointment only on the Aquarium by Appointment registration page

COVID Procedures:

  • For safety and appropriate social distancing, this program is limited to a single group reservation per program, with options of $50 for a group of 1-5 participants or $100 for a group of 6-10 participants
  • Passengers are required to wear face coverings and practice social distancing during check-in and for the duration of the walk. 

This event counts toward the Coastal Stewards Program, designed to engage adults in activities that improve their knowledge of coastal ecosystems, enhance understanding of current issues impacting coastal communities, and inspire stewardship of natural resources.
