0756 - Creative Writing

Have you ever wanted to write a story or novel but had no idea where to start? Join us for a week of creative writing, where you'll learn how make the jump from an idea to a finished, publishable work! We'll focus on taking our ideas from a one-line summary to a working draft! Using the Snowflake Method and the 3-Act Structure, we’ll hone our craft as writers through lessons on refining ideas, creating a scene and setting, writing dialogue, describing action, and putting it all together into one cohesive text. Each day will include a combination of hands-on activities that help us develop details, workshops with fellow writers, and of course, time to write! By the end of the week everyone in the program will have what they need to take their story from idea to finished product! No prior experience required.
