The University of Georgia Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant is offering Seafood Sanitation Control Procedure (SCP) Training for seafood processors, packers, wholesalers, and importers to assist in developing and implementing SCPs as mandated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). As a perquisite to a Seafood HACCP plan, seafood processors must monitor sanitary control procedures used during processing to demonstrate compliance with approved sanitary conditions and practices.
This SCP class will be 1-day, held in the conference room of the Melton Building on the UGA Griffin Campus.

Additional Information/Requirements:
- The course is taught in English.
- You must be present and fully participate to receive a SCP certificate which will be emailed to you by the Association of Food and Drug Officials (www.afdo.org/seafoodhaccp).
- Upon completing your registration you will receive an emailed confirmation.
- Textbook costs are included in the registration fee and will be provided for use at the training site.
- Participants will be given an hour for lunch (on your own; not provided).
