Get creative while learning about the vital role oysters play in local estuaries, coastal ecosystems and restoration efforts along the Georgia coast. In this hands-on program, participants will learn about UGA Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant’s work in living shoreline research, then craft a unique decorative dish using recycled oysters! You’ll also have the chance to explore our new Living Shoreline aquarium exhibit.

All supplies for the craft will be provided.
