0027 - An Indigo Experience at the Garden

Join us for a unique online, interactive workshop exploring one of the most popular plants known for its brilliant blue color dye - indigo. Participants will receive a virtual tour of the Heritage Garden as well as the Indigo-To-Go™ Kit, which has been formulated for easier vat maintenance and includes one yard of sustainable fabric, in addition to all the necessary components to expand your natural dyeing creativity. The online class will take you through all the steps from creating your indigo vat, fabric preparation, manipulation techniques and submersion as well as dyeing materials. This course is designed for anyone interested in expanding the creative process using natural dyes and sustainable materials. Dye kits will be available to pick up from the garden.
