If you have earned a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, the University of Georgia’s 90-hour Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certificate program will build extensively on your knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and take your career to the next level. The program prepares you to apply Lean Six Sigma skills as a strong leader who directs critical projects.
In this Black Belt program, students will build on their Green Belt knowledge to be able to identify process problems, and lead teams, and analyze data using the DMAIC project process. The full program consists of two courses and a project: Leadership Tools for Black Belts, Statistics for Black Belts, and Project Capstone for Black Belts.
Note: Access to Minitab® Statistical software is required. A 6-month Minitab® Statistical Software license is available for purchase through the Georgia Center when bundled with this course if needed.
The time permitted for completing the certificate program is 12 months.
