Instructional Design and Development Practicum (Course #2)

  • Using the principles from the introduction, this course teaches a practical approach for eLearning development.
  • Allows students to put eLearning and instructional design principles into practice.
  • Students work with their choice of commonly-used tools to design and develop short eLearning experiences.

Access to a desktop or laptop computer is required to have an optimal experience in the IDD Practicum course.

This program uses three software tools for the IDD Practicum course: Articulate Storyline from articulate.com, and either Adobe Photoshop from adobe.com or GIMP from GIMP.org. It's important to note that although instructors can help with accessing these tools, the University of Georgia does not have any formal agreement with software providers for promotional or sales purposes. Students are responsible for accessing and installing the software, including any possible costs. The instructor has the discretion to allow the use of alternative software tools.
