A specialty course in the Intergovernmental Relations Track of the Lifelong Learning Academy, this class will examine the history of service delivery and the requirements of the law, it will outline strategies for preparing for negotiations, and it will focus on the leadership skills needed to negotiate a service delivery agreement that works for all the citizens in your county.

Course Outline

This course will provide participants with information outlining what is required and assist commissioners with appreciating the impact of their negotiations on service delivery, the imposition of taxes and fees on constituents county-wide, and relationships with city governments
