A clerk’s procedural knowledge and skill might make the difference between an extremely productive meeting and one that impedes governance. In this required course, clerks will acquire in-depth knowledge and skills regarding the proper methodology for preparing agendas and minutes. This required course will lead a discussion on the different approaches used by clerks for preparing agendas and recording minutes for public meetings and hearings.
