Georgia laws require local governments to be audited. As county commissioners, you are asked to make decisions regarding a process that is oftentimes not clear and underappreciated. This six-hour course describes the county audit process and offers practical examples to make the audit process a valuable tool. In this advanced specialty track course, participants will come to better understand how to own the audit you pay for and recognize the county commissioner’s role in the county audit process.
