1219 - ACCG Understanding Leadership Styles
Our leadership styles and our personal styles reflect each other. In this class we will learn about our personal styles and preferences, and explore how these influence the ways in which we tend to approach problems, decisions, situations, and each other. We will identify our personal leadership strengths, and look at ways to help others use their strengths when they are not our strengths. We will also explore leadership behaviors and best practices and how these apply to the work of commissioners. This advanced course is one of eight offered in the Leadership Development Specialty Track. The other courses in this specialty track are Board Dynamics, Collaborative Leadership, Leadership in Local Government, Motivation and Management, Personal power and Influence, Team Building, and The Voice of Leadership.
