Launched in 2016, the Georgia Certified Economic Developer Program is tailored to the requirements of those working for organizations in an economic development capacity. The Georgia Certified Economic Developer (GCED) program, created in partnership with the Georgia Economic Developers Association, offers economic development professionals Georgia-specific training on practical topics that can be immediately applied within their communities or organizations to achieve economic success.  The Georgia Certified Economic Developer designation is awarded to economic development professionals upon successful completion of all course requirements and a capstone project.
