If you are a new clerk needing Mandated Training, please select the "First Time Attendees: Mandated Training for New Clerks (Sunday-Tuesday)" package when registering.
To Register Online:
- If this is your first time logging in on this registration system:
- If you have attended any CVIOG class before, your record has been brought over to this database. To log in, use the "I have an account already" section to enter your email address and click "Forgot Password." You will receive an email to re-set your password.
- If you have never taken a class with CVIOG, use the "New User" section.
- If you have logged into this registration system in the past year, use the same username/password you previously used.
To Register by mail and pay by check:
- Download and complete the mail-in registration form. Send the form along with the check payment to the address listed on the form.
After Registering:
You will receive several emails which will be directed to the email address you provided when registering/setting up your user profile. The sender name on the emails will be no-reply-outreach@uga.edu.
- Enrollment confirmation (Subject line: Carl Vinson Institute of Government Enrollment Notification for 'Your Name') - This email provides verification that your enrollment has been received and processed.
- Confirmation (Subject line: Carl Vinson Institute of Government Confirmation) - This email provides details of the course you enrolled in, including the cancellation policy.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:
All cancellation requests will be assessed a 10% service charge and will be refunded 90% of the registration fee. Written requests postmarked/dated between January 19, 2025 and January 26, 2025, will be assessed a 25% administrative fee, and requests postmarked/ dated after January 26, 2025 are not eligible for a refund. Registrants who fail to attend, cancel, or send a substitute, are liable for the full registration fee. Substitution of participant is encouraged over cancellation.
