 Early bird fees are in effect through May 31, 2024.

Hotel information will be available HERE when registration opens. Group lodging blocks will be open when registration opens (4/18/24 at 10am). Please do not contact the hotel(s) to inquire about the group lodging rate before this block opens. Hotel group rates are available on a first come, first served basis. Please make your reservations in a timely manner

 

If you are a current participant in the program, then you are in our system and should not create a new record – use the email that you have received this email from along with your password to access your individual training records.  Once you are logged in and need to check your progress, choose the “My Certificates and Designations” tab to view your records.

- The following are included in conference registration:

      Breakfast- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

      Lunch - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

      Dinner - Thursday evening banquet

      Refreshment Breaks: Tuesday AM and PM, Wednesday AM and PM, Thursday AM and PM, Friday AM

- Hotel fees are not included in your conference registration fee

- There is an entry fee for Jekyll Island ($10/day)

- You must make sessions selections for TUESDAY, THURSDAY, AND FRIDAY

 

 

To Register online and pay by credit card (preferred):

1. Login OR Create a new user profile:

 

If you have previously attended classes with the Institute of Government or other UGA Public Service & Outreach events, you should already have an account in the new system.

 

• Under the ‘I have an account already’ section, enter your email address, and click on the ‘Forgot Password’ link. You will receive an email with a link to re-set your password. The sender name on the email will be no-reply-outreach@uga.edu.

 

NOTE: Each registered participant must have a unique email address. The same email address cannot be used for multiple registrants.

If you have not previously attended classes with the Institute of Government, you will need to set up a New User profile.

 

NOTE: When creating a new user profile, you may receive a message that a user name already

exists in the new system, indicating that it was migrated from the old system. If you receive this

message, you will have an opportunity to set a new password.

 

In the Address and Telephone section, be sure to select the correct 'Type' (e.g. 'Office') from the drop-down selections.

In the Employment Information section, enter at minimum your Employer and Job Title

Select your preferred Marketing Opt in and Privacy options, and click the boxes to indicate that you have read and understand the privacy policies.

 

2. Register and select sessions:

 

• Once you are logged in, select the Member or Non-Member participant option, and then select either Full Conference - In-Person or Full Conference - Virtual.

 

• The Session selection information link allows you to preview the sessions; you will make selections in a later step.

 

• Provide additional input as requested, including county name, title, and any special needs.

• Confirm cart and select payment method.

 

Select conference sessions. You cannot select your classes until you have entered your credit card information.

 

3. After registering, you will receive several emails which will be directed to the email address provided when updating your user profile. The sender name on the emails will be no-reply-outreach@uga.edu.

 

(Applicable to new users only) - New Account notification; password action required (Subject line: Vice President for Public Service and Outreach New Account). - This email is being sent because you set up a new user account in the registration system. The email will include a link that you must click on in order to choose a password for future access. Please take immediate action upon receipt of this notice.

 

• Enrollment confirmation (Subject line: Carl Vinson Institute of Government Enrollment Notification for 'Your Name') - This email provides verification that your enrollment has been received and processed.

 

• Confirmation (Subject line: Carl Vinson Institute of Government Confirmation) - This email provides details of the course you enrolled in and includes the cancellation policy.

 

If you are unable to register online and pay by credit card, please scroll to the top of the page and download the Registration form. 

Please be sure to complete BOTH SIDES of the registration form and return to annalawrence@uga.edu. Online registration is strongly recommended. Mail-in registrations received after the cut-off date cannot be guaranteed.
