The Executive Project Management Certificate, offered by the University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education and the Terry College of Business, is a 36-hour course designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to start or advance your career in project management. With just five days of in-person instruction and 2.5 hours of outside-of-class groupwork, this is an ideal program for busy professionals seeking a onsite classroom experience. This course is taught at the UGA Terry College of Business - Atlanta/Buckhead Campus.

This interactive course will satisfy the formal project management education hours (35) required by PMI® for anyone planning to take the Project Management Professional exam.

This is a 36 hour course that will begin on June 24, 2024 and end on July 8, 2024.

The class will meet in-person Monday - Thursday, June 24 - 27, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and live-online Monday, July 8, 2024 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

  • A 1-hour lunch break is built into the schedule for the first 4 days of the class.  Meals, breakfast and lunch, will be provided.   

2.5 hours of required outside-of-class, group case study work must be completed between June 28th and July 7th. Meeting times to complete the case study work can be scheduled as needed by each group.
